Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Uplifts Vocational Students' Skills through Hands-on Experiences Donates Motors Engine for Academic Class Training to Chonburi Technical College

Chonburi – December 21, 2021: Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. donated 11 motor engines to the mechanical department of Chonburi Technical College at Automotive Center of Excellence, Chonburi Technical College uplifting the vocational students' skills to cultivate hands-on skills experience through a study with the real engines. By enhancing both of theoretical and practical knowledge from classes, it will improve their mechanical engineering learning experiences to become an excellence in vocational education (Excellent Center) Center of Excellence. This is to prepare for further development as a quality personnel in the Thai automobile industry.

The 11 motor engines that the company has donated include engines from various Mitsubishi Motors models such as Triton, Pajero, Mirage, Attrage and Outlander PHEV. This invaluable learning opportunity is for the students to become familiar with diverse types of engines for different kinds of cars model. It also helps Chonburi Technological College to increase its mechanical teaching equipment to accommodate the growing number of students. Chonburi Technical College will be using the motor engines provided by Mitsubishi Motors Thailand as teaching tools for three main subjects including (1) Automated Vehicle Problems Analysis, (2) Electronic Diesel Engine Control System under the Higher Vocational Certificate and (3) Electronic Fuel Injection System subject under a Vocational Certificate level to heighten the vocational students’ skills through learning and hands-on practice via the actual machines.

This donation is regarded as part of the educational initiatives under our vision on social contribution commitment: "To Contribute and Grow with Thai society". As Mitsubishi Motors Thailand has continuously operated its business in Thailand for over 60 years, the company has established "Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Foundation (MMTF)", which serves as a nonprofit organization, to benefit the society through three focuses in 1) environment 2) health, and 3) education and morality. Previously, the company has delivered new innovative motor engines to the Technical Colleges across the country, such as Phrae Technical College, Phayao Technical College, Chaiyaphum Technical College, Nongkhai Technical College, Phetchaburi Technical College, Hat Yai Technical College, Rayong Technical College and Eastern Technology (E. Tech). The company also provided new innovation Mitsubishi Motors engines together with its stand to Phra Dabos School. Moreover, the company has carried out various projects to support the educational program, such as the "MMTh VTECH Scholarship Program 2021" which provides scholarships to university students collaborating between Mitsubishi Motors Thailand and Thammasat School of Engineering (TSE), “The Mitsubishi Motors Give Chance, Give Education program” aimed to grant scholarships to middle school students who achieved outstanding academic performance joining forces with the Equitable Education Fund (EEF), MMTh Talent Internship Program 2021, the annual student internship program collaborating with the country's leading universities and providing solar panels along with power adapters to be used as teaching aids for the Faculty of Engineering Burapha University.
