MITSUBISHI MOTORS THAILAND
1961
Sittipol Motor Co.,Ltd. (SMC). was established and authorized as sole distributor of Mitsubishi tree-wheel "Leo" and early-stage "Colt" models.
1964
United Development Motor Industry Co., Ltd (UDMI), assembler, was found.
1987
SMC and UDMI united as "MMC Sittipol Co.,Ltd. (MSC) resulting in better cooperation and bolstering the company's position on future international projects.
1988
Started export of "Mitsubishi Lancer Champ" to Canada as the first automobile export from Thailand.
1992
Inauguration of the First Factory at Laemchabang Industrial Estate, Chonburi.
1996
Inauguration of the Second Factory which concentrates production of 1-ton pickup truck.
2003
Changed company name to "Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd." (MMTh)
2007
Celebrated the 1 Million Unit Exported Pickup Truck to worldwide.
2008
Expanded new engine factory at Laemchabang as MMTh Engine Company (MEC).
2009
Celebrated the 2 Million Units Production of all models.
2012
Inauguration of the Third Factory and start production of Global Small project.
2013
Celebrated the 3 million Unit Production which referred to the 2 Million Units Export and 1 Million Units Domestic Sales.
