Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Underlines its Leadership in Motorsport as Asia Cross Country Rally 2022 Crown Champion: Supports Racing Teams in Thailand Super Series 2023

Bangkok – May 24, 2023: As the crown champion of the Asia Cross Country Rally 2022, Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. underlines its leadership in motorsport by supporting racing teams in the Thailand Super Series 2023 with the Mitsubishi Triton. To be held at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram, Mitsubishi Motors Thailand invites customers to cheer for the racing teams on the grand stand and get exclusive experience from special activities.

Our participation in Thailand Super Series 2023 follows our overall victory in the Asia Cross Country Rally 2022 by Team MITSUBISHI RALLIART and the Triton Rally Car.”

In the Thailand Super Series 2023, Mitsubishi Motors Thailand will support racing teams competing in all divisions of the Thailand Super Pickup (pickup truck racing). This includes Division 1 with two racing cars in Class A and one racing car in Class B. For Division 2, there will be two racing cars, along with independent racing teams which will be competing with three Mitsubishi Tritons in Class C. With eight Mitsubishi Motors racing cars, Mitsubishi Motors Thailand is the second most represented manufacturer in the Thailand Super Pickup 2023.

As one of the leading circuit races in ASEAN, the Thailand Super Series consists of a series of races with a points system to determine the championship. There will be five races in 2023. The first started at the Chang International Circuit in April followed by the second race in May. The third race will take place at Bangsaen Street Circuit on June 27 – July 2. The fourth race will be held at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia on August 25 – 27. The final race of the championship will be staged at the Chang International Circuit in Buriram on December 14 – 17.
