Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Showcases New Models, Focusing on Eco-Friendly Concept with Exclusive Deals

BANGKOK – March 26, 2024: Mitsubishi Motors Thailand will show its support for eco-friendly technologies by showcasing its newest and latest models led by the new Mitsubishi XPANDER HEV and Mitsubishi XPANDER CROSS HEV, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, complete with exclusive interest rates of up to zero percent and many more special offers at the 45th Bangkok International Motor Show 2024. Alongside these eco-friendly innovations, the spotlight will also shine on the Triton Rally Car, which will compete in the Asia Cross Country Rally or AXCR 2024 to mark the ambitious spirits of motorsport that are intertwined with Rally-Racing DNA.

Taking the spotlight are the recently launched Mitsubishi XPANDER HEV and Mitsubishi XPANDER CROSS HEV, the first-ever Mitsubishi Motors’ HEVs featuring Mitsubishi e:MOTION, the latest in emotional perfect driving experience with full of power and confidence on all roads. This innovative system integrates three of Mitsubishi Motors' cutting-edge technologies – the HEV system, an eco-friendly, exhilarating, dynamic and powerful motor drive made possible by an HEV system derived from PHEVs, 7 Drive Modes, the seven newly developed drive modes for EV driving at will and for safe, secure road performance in various weather and road conditions and Active Yaw Control (AYC), Mitsubishi’s unique technology provides safe and confident driving dynamics especially during cornering.

Sharing the spotlight is the newly-launched Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2024, featuring a more powerful EURO-5 Hyper Power 2.4L 4-cylinder diesel commonrail turbo intercooler engine with the new-generation of electronic commonrail injection boasting 184 PS at 3,500 rpm and 430 Nm of torque at 2,250 – 2,500 rpm, matched to a newly-developed six-speed automatic transmission. The new engine and lighter vehicle weight deliver increased power while producing lower CO2 emissions and achieving improved fuel efficiency.

This model is available in both 4WD and 2WD variants, The new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2024 Elite Edition 4WD is also ready to master all weather conditions and terrains, thanks to the new transmission incorporating Mitsubishi Motors’ renowned Super Select 4WD II system. The system is uniquely designed with a full-time 4H system that allows seamless switching from 2H to 4H, even while driving at high speeds (Shift-on-the-Fly). It also comes with 4HLc and 4LLc modes plus four off-road modes including Gravel, Mud/Snow, Sand, and Rock.

The new Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2024 presents a captivating exterior design, highlighted by a hexagonal front grille, redesigned front and rear bumpers, and new 18-inch black monotone alloy wheels. Inside, the interior exudes luxury with its two-tone black-burgundy color scheme and diamond-pattern seats featuring thermal reflection Heat Guard technology. Additionally, drivers will appreciate the enhanced visibility and user-friendly operation offered by the new eight-inch digital LCD display.
