The contest, organized with the theme “Aim for Excellence,” is conducted annually with the aim to improve personnel competency within Mitsubishi Motors Thailand’s dealerships and maximize customer satisfaction.

“I would like to congratulate the finalists who made it this far with determination and dedication. The skills competition motivates dealer personnel to continue to improve their skills and instill a collaborative spirit in dealer networks. The ultimate goal of this exercise is to provide the finest products and service to our customers. Mitsubishi Motors Thailand has been hosting the annual skills contest for over two decades now as part of our people development program for sales and service outlets to improve our capacity to serve an ever-growing number of Mitsubishi consumers. Our efforts to cultivate high-caliber talent have been publicly recognized with customer satisfaction awards we have received for sales and aftersales services for two consecutive years,” said Mr. Eiichi Koito, President and CEO, Mitsubishi Motors Thailand.

This year’s Mitsubishi Motors Skills Contest, which attracted over 5,000 entries from across the country, was divided into four professional services: sales consultant, service advisor, periodic maintenance technician and diagnostic technician. After the first round, dubbed the Knowledge Challenge, 500 contestants advanced to the semi-finals, where 40 finalists were selected. In the end, 12 winners, three from each professional service, stood out and bagged a trophy. One winner from the service advisor category and another from diagnostic technician category will compete in Mitsubishi Motors Corporation's biennial Global Service Skills Contest in Japan. Previously, Mitsubishi Motors Thailand sponsored two Thai contestants who won the winner in the service advisor category and 1st Runner-up in diagnostic technician category on the Global Service Skills Contest in Japan.

“Aside from providing outstanding customer service through our well-trained staff in all of our dealerships, we continue to provide high-quality products characterized by our unique selling point of excellent driving performance and features developed based on our experience and championship DNA demonstrated in many of the world's toughest rallies,” Mr. Koito added.
