Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Gears Up for Further Growth

with New Executive Appointments

BANGKOK – October 5, 2023: Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. is gearing up for further growth with the appointments of two executives to its board of directors and senior management. Mr. Noboru Tsuji has been appointed as Chairman of the Board, Mitsubishi Motors Thailand while Mr. Ryoichi Inaba has been appointed as Executive Vice President, Marketing Strategy, Sales, Network Improvement and After Sales Units, Mitsubishi Motors Thailand. Both appointments are effective from October 01, 2023.


Mr. Noboru Tsuji joined Mitsubishi Corporation in 1982. He has rich international executive career in automotive businesses in many countries including Spain, Germany, Australia and Indonesia. He was named Senior Vice President of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation in 2018. Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Tsuji was the Senior Executive Officer responsible for Corporate Governance.


Meanwhile, Mr. Ryoichi Inaba who joins as Executive Vice President of Marketing Strategy, Sales, Network Improvement and After Sales Units, Mitsubishi Motors Thailand, started his career with Mitsubishi Motor Corporation’s Overseas Planning Department in 1992. In 2006, Mr. Inaba was posted to Mitsubishi Motors Europe as Manager, Product Marketing Division. He became the Chairman of Mitsubishi Motors Sales Netherlands in 2009. Mr. Inaba moved back to Japan in 2012 to take up the role of Manager, Product Strategy Office and in charge of Pajero Sport. In 2015, he became the Unit Head, Product Strategy Division of Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors in Indonesia, and became the Director, Product Strategy Division of Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Sales Indonesia two years later. Mr. Inaba moved back to Japan in 2021 as the Division General Manager, ASEAN B Division, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, before assuming his current role at Mitsubishi Motors Thailand.


As Thailand and the ASEAN region is a key strategic market for Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, the new appointments will strengthen the company’s leadership in Thailand, regionally and globally. As a core business and production hub as well as driver of the company’s growth, it is Mitsubishi Motors Corporation’s largest production facility with three assembly plants, one engine factory and the first proving ground outside Japan. Taking advantage of Thailand’s strategic status as an automotive hub, Mitsubishi Motors Thailand has also become the hub for regional and international operations.
