The award was given Mitsubishi Motors Thailand and MMTF for their strong support. Such a 60 years 60 Rai Reforestation Project was completed 20 Rai in Ban Ang Krapong Community Forest, Chonburi Province, and completed 40 Rai in Ban Na Ngam Community Forest, Sa Kaeo Province.

Community forest development is recognized as an important approach to sustain forest management because it prioritizes the quality of life for those who rely on forest resources while reducing poverty and safeguarding forest areas. Other benefits of community forest management include non-timber forest products, watershed protection, carbon storage, spiritual and cultural significance, and wildlife habitat.

Last year, Mitsubishi Motors Thailand and MMTF also received the Honorary Certificate as Supporter of Environmental Conservation for their community forest promotion in commemoration the Royal Forest Department's 125th anniversary.
