Mitsubishi Motors Thailand and TJM Take Camping Enthusiasts on Off-Road Adventure Trip

Providing Scholarships and Essential Supplies to Remote School’s Students in Kanchanaburi

Bangkok – December 4, 2023: Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd., in collaboration with TJM, a manufacturer and distributor of 4WD automotive accessories, recently organized the ‘TJM Chang Pee x Mitsubishi Motors Ultimate 4X4 Trip @Thong Pha Phum’ charity event to take customers on an adventure trip and test the capabilities of the All-New Mitsubishi Triton and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. After tackling challenging off-road routes, the participants staged a charity lunch and provided scholarships and essential supplies to students at Banulong School, Baan Kanun Kli branch in the Thong Pha Phum district, Kanchanaburi province. This initiative was created to support the local community while providing an enjoyable camping experience for customers.

Mr. Hiroaki Ozawa, Vice President, Marketing Strategy Unit of Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd., said “Apart from the social responsibility activities, this event provided us with a great opportunity to meet and engage with our customers. It also allowed us to showcase the capabilities and performance of our All-New Mitsubishi Triton and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport.”

“Much like a reliable partner that caters to the varied needs of all drivers, Mitsubishi Motors is determined to offer vehicles that change every day into something exciting and enjoyable, supporting lifestyles that require great mobility. Ingrained with Mitsubishi Motors-ness DNA which represents technical reliability, drivability with advanced safety and comfort, our vehicles will evoke drivers’ spirit of adventure, motivating them to go one step further than usual, while safely bringing them home from just about any adventures,” added Mr. Ozawa.

The ‘TJM Chang Pee x Mitsubishi Motors Ultimate 4X4 Trip @Thong Pha Phum’ event took place in a remote area, requiring participants to navigate through challenging terrain, especially during the rainy season. This included conquering steep hills with gravel paths, as well as facing obstacles like mud and water crossings. Mitsubishi Motors’ exclusive ‘Super Select 4WD II’ system, offering Full-Time All Wheel Control which can seamlessly shift between 2-wheel drive (2H) and 4-wheel drive (4H) modes even at high speeds (Shift-on-the-Fly) provided the customers with confidence in performance and safety, enabling them to navigate various road and weather conditions. The system enables the vehicles to cater to a wide range of usage scenarios, whether for commercial or personal use, accommodating the diverse lifestyles of drivers.

The All-New Mitsubishi Triton also features exceptional driving performance to conquer all weather conditions and terrains with its seven drive modes including ‘Normal’, ‘Eco’ for environmental-friendly and fuel-efficiency journey, ‘Gravel’ for driving on rough dusty or gravel roads, ‘Snow’ for driving on snowy or wet and slippery roads, ‘Mud’ for tackling muddy and slippery surfaces, ‘Sand’ for navigating sandy or loose dirt terrains and ‘Rock’ for handling rugged, rocky surfaces. The truck is also equipped with Active Yaw Control (AYC) system, providing precise control and balance while cornering.
