Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Holds the 22nd Annual Skills Contest to Enhance Sales and Aftersales Service Effectiveness
BANGKOK – April 7, 2023: Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. recently held the 22nd Annual Skills Contest to seek for the best personnel of seven working categories from dealers across the country. Focused on developing knowledge and expertise of dealership employees, it also helps to encourage and challenge the development and continuous improvement of employees’ skills, which is a part of the company’s long-term commitment to enhance sales and aftersales service quality for the benefit of customers.
Mr. Eiichi Koito, President and CEO of Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. said, “Participants of this competition came from many capable employees within our dealership network nationwide, and they have demonstrated very high levels of skills and competencies. This is a highly positive indication because, as customer-facing resources, it means our customers are receiving the highest levels of service and satisfaction in sales and aftersales services.”

The 22nd Annual Skills Contest of the company’s fiscal year 2022 consists of three rounds. Pre-screening for the competition was held online, which attracted more than 3,000 entries nationwide. Out of that total, 300 winners were selected for the semi-final while 65 finalists were selected for the final competition. The final round competition, held at Mitsubishi Motors Education Academy consists of seven categories include Sales Consultant, Service Advisor, Customer Relations Officer, Parts Officer, Periodic Maintenance Technician, Diagnostic Technician and Service Advisor for Body & Paint to seek three winners including winner, first runner-up and second runner-up for each category.
The Annual Skills Contest is a part of Mitsubishi Motors Thailand's commitment to continuously enhance sales and aftersales service effectiveness after earning Thailand’s top spot in Sales Service Satisfaction and After Sales Service Satisfaction from Thailand Automotive Quality Award (TAQA) for two years in a row since 2020.
Mitsubishi Motors Thailand has earned seven No.1 awards in Sales Service Satisfaction and After Sales Service Satisfaction from TAQA including
- Outstanding After Sales Service Satisfaction for Passenger Car in 2020 and 2021
- Outstanding Sales Satisfaction for Passenger Car in 2020 and 2021
- Outstanding After Sales Service Satisfaction for 1-Ton Pickup in 2020 and 2021
- Outstanding Sales Service Satisfaction for 1-Ton Pickup in 2021
