BANGKOK – August 19, 2022: Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. debuts the new Triton S-LIMITED edition of the Triton pick-up at the Big Motor Sale 2022, held from 19 - 28 August at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC). The Triton S-LIMITED introduces the stylish lifestyle with an expressive new visual and a sporty new upgrade to the vehicle interior, together summoning the Japanese spirit of competition coupled with made-for-the-streets custom styling with the concept of “Café Racer”.

The concept of Café Racer which originated among British motorcycle lovers who have racing spirit with cool style in London since 1960s. To make Mitsubishi Trion stands out in the crown, the concept is applied to the vehicle with its special edition to reflect a custom classic and stylish design in addition to the existing high performance of the vehicle to attract more people who also have racing spirit with cool style together with its superior performance 2.4L DOHC MIVEC Diesel engine with 181ps.

Triton S-LIMITED’s engine is an Aluminum Alloy Block, 2.4 L Common Rail Direct Injection, 4-cylinder DOHC 16 v, with a Variable Turbo Charger & Intercooler, resulting in a maximum output power of 181 PS at 3,500 rpm, and maximum output torque of 430 N-m at 2,500 rpm. This engine is renowned as one of the most reliable in the world for its excellent innovation, its light weight, and tough, durable performance, yielding a typical 20% improvement in fuel economy; with optimized top gear ratios (ideal for long-distance running), fuel economy has been improved and engine quietness is outstanding even at high speed. The Sport Mode also allows for a shift up or down with a flick of the lever for sporty, manual-like driving enjoyment when the driver wants complete control.
