Mitsubishi Motors Establishes New ASEAN Regional Training Center in Thailand
BANGKOK – December 12, 2023: Mitsubishi Motors has established its new ASEAN Regional Training Center (ARTC) in Thailand -- an important hub in Mitsubishi Motors' global operations -- with an aim to improve customer satisfaction in service experience and strengthen training of service staff at Mitsubishi dealer network throughout the ASEAN region.
“Thailand is the key strategic production and operation base for Mitsubishi Motors, where we produce a lot of flagship models for worldwide exports. Additionally, we remain dedicated to enhancing customer satisfaction with improvements on all aspects of products and services. We’re creating Mitsubishi Motors’ ASEAN Regional Training Center (ARTC) in Thailand in order to ‘train the trainers’ as ARTC will focus on the distributors in ASEAN countries by developing new training courses fit the market profiles of ASEAN countries,” said Mr. Ryoichi Inaba, President and CEO, Mitsubishi Motors Thailand.
Mitsubishi Motors takes pride in being a leader that has supported Thailand's automotive manufacturing industry as an export hub for many years. In addition to this new training facility, the ASEAN Regional Training Center (ARTC), the company has continuously strengthened the investment and growth in Thailand including the new state-of-the-art production line for All-New Triton and its new HYPER POWER engine, the energy-efficient, innovative high-quality paint facility with an investment of 3 billion baht, along with establishing the first proving ground outside Japan, making Mitsubishi Motors Thailand become Mitsubishi Motors Corporation’s largest production facility.
