During the visit, the industry minister witnessed the revolutionary Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV which is a perfect choice for both urban driving on the BEV platform and camping lifestyle through two on-board power outlets with a maximum of 1,500 watts that can supply power from the traction battery to electronic appliances for outdoor leisure. The vehicle is also equipped with the twin-motor 4WD combined with S-AWC (Super-All Wheel Control) system which enables handling with peace of mind in various weather and road conditions. Mr. Koito also introduced new Mitsubishi XPANDER to the minister and showcased its new interior and advanced exterior with more SUV-feel that come with its latest model, including advanced “dynamic shield” front face, the 17-inch alloy wheels featuring two-tone design, top-level high ground clearance (220 mm) in the class and new “eco-dynamic” CVT. Since its premiere in August 2018, the Mitsubishi XPANDER, one of Mitsubishi Motors' strategic products, has formed Thailand's MPV market. The cross-over MPV has received positive reviews in Thailand, with a total market share of more than 44,000 units sold across all variants.

While walking around the booth, Mr. Koito revealed the company's ambitious aim to create all its passenger cars with electrified powertrains starting in 2024 to the industry minister.
