Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Strengthen Its Position Amid Rapid Changes in Automotive Industry, Appoints New Executives

Bangkok – April 1, 2025: Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. continues to drive the organization forward with strength to support sustainable and stable growth. The company has announced the appointment of two executives to its Board of Directors and senior management: Mr. Minoru Kinoshita as Chairman of the Board, succeeding to Mr. Noboru Tsuji. And Mr. Nobuhiko Koizumi as Executive Vice President and LCB Representative, Mitsubishi Motors Thailand, succeeding to Mr. Eiji Ogawa. The appointments are effective from April 1, 2025.

Mr. Minoru Kinoshita

began his career with Mitsubishi Motors Corporation in 1990, accumulating extensive experience and expertise in the international automotive market. Over the years, he has managed operations in key markets such as China, Philippines, Indonesia, and Thailand. He was also entrusted with overseeing and managing multiple countries across the ASEAN and Oceania regions. In 2024, he was appointed Assistant Executive Vice President of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, leading Global Market Strategy and Sales Strategy, Prior to assuming his current role as Chairman of the Board at Mitsubishi Motors Thailand.

Mr. Nobuhiko Koizumi

who joins as Executive Vice President, LCB Representative of Mitsubishi Motors Thailand, began working with Mitsubishi Motors Corporation in 1991 and has extensive experience in the production field. He has worked at production plants in Nagoya and Okazaki, Japan, and in Thailand. Until 2025, due to his expertise in production, he held the position of Senior Vice President in the Factory Unit at Mitsubishi Motors Thailand starting in March, before taking on the role of Executive Vice President, LCB Representative in April.

As Thailand and the ASEAN region is a key strategic market for Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, the new appointments will strengthen the company’s leadership in Thailand, regionally and globally. As a core business and production hub as well as driver of the company’s growth, it is Mitsubishi Motors Corporation’s largest production facility with three assembly plants, one engine factory and the first proving ground outside Japan. Taking advantage of Thailand’s strategic status as an automotive hub, Mitsubishi Motors Thailand has also become the hub for regional and international operations.
