Mitsubishi Motors Thailand and MMTh Engine Achieve Five Zero Accident Awards 2025 Supporting the Concept of ‘Building a Safety Culture for a Sustainable Thai Society’

Bangkok – June 17, 2025: Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and MMTh Engine Co., Ltd. have recently received five 2025 Zero Accident Awards from the Thailand Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (Public Organization) in conjunction with THAILAND SAFE @ WORK#37. The awards included Platinum recognition for Factory 3 for the fourth consecutive year. Other facilities that received awards include Platinum for Factory 1 and 2 for the second consecutive year, Gold for MMTh Engine factory, Silver for Press #2, and Plastic and Copper for Press #1. The prestigious recognition underscores the company’s ongoing dedication to advancing workplace safety, occupational health, and environmental standards in a sustainable workplace.

 

Mr. Nobuhiko Koizumi, Executive Vice President of Factory Unit of Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. said, “Our organization takes great pride in continuously receiving the Platinum Zero Accident Campaign Award, a prestigious recognition that reflects our unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and occupational health. This achievement also highlights the dedication and hard work of all employees who collaborated to create a truly safe workplace. The success of this initiative is driven by the collective efforts of our workforce, who strictly adhered to the principles of the ‘10 Safety Cultures’, the ‘4BBS’ framework, and the ‘WOW’ culture at every level of the organization.

For 2025, Factory 1 and 2 received the Platinum Trophy for the second year for the highest 63.4 million accumulative accident-free work hours, while Factory 3 received the Platinum Trophy for the fourth consecutive year for 34.3 million accident-free work hours. Meanwhile, MMTh Engine Factory received the Gold level for 13.9 million accident-free work hours for the third consecutive year, while Press #2 and Plastic received the Silver level for the second consecutive year for 4.0 million accident-free work hours and Press #1 with Copper level for the fourth year for 1.4 million accident-free work hours.  

 

The 37th National Occupational Safety and Health Event (Thailand Safe@Work 2025) was held under the theme ‘Building a Safety Culture for a Sustainable Thai Society’. The event aimed to foster collaboration among employers, employees, and relevant government and private sector organizations to collectively raise awareness of the importance of safety, occupational health, and sustainable workplace environments.
