Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Donates Engines and Powertrain Set to Lopburi Technical College to Enhance Automotive Education and Skills Development, Supporting the Sustainable Growth of Thailand's Automotive Industry

Bangkok – September 25, 2025: Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd., together with MITSU LBM CO., LTD., donates engines and Powertrain Set to Lopburi Technical College, reinforcing its commitment to supporting education and empowering youth through hands-on learning experiences, enhancing employability, and promoting career advancement. As part of the ceremony, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between MITSU LBM CO., LTD. and Lopburi Technical College to support the college’s educational mission and provide students with real-world work experience, preparing them for sustainable careers in Thailand’s automotive industry.

 

Mr. Sarote Maartlert, Executive Vice President of Sales & Aftersales and Customer Experience, Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd., said, “Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd., has continuously supported a variety of corporate social responsibility initiatives, with a strong focus on education, environment, and health. The Donation of Engines and Powertrain Set to Lopburi Technical College consists of new 4N16 engine with advanced automotive technologies from NEW TRITON, 4N15 Short block, R6M5A manual transmission, and a differential. A key highlight of the event was a hands-on automotive technology workshop conducted by experts from the Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Education Academy, in collaboration with technicians from MITSU LBM Co., Ltd. The workshop was conducted to provide practical training and real-world experience for the students.

 

The engine donation project was established in 2015, aligning with Mitsubishi Motors Thailand’s commitment to educate and develop a sustainable talent pool for the automotive industry. It is also a part of the company’s CSR direction, ‘To Contribute and Grow with Thai Society, which focuses on three pillars, including Education, Environment, and Health. This serves as a fundamental foundation for sustainable growth alongside Thai society.
