Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Continues ‘Give Chance, Give Education’ Year 5 with 100 Scholarships to Support Educational Equality for Thai Youth
BANGKOK – October 30, 2024: Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd., in collaboration with Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Foundation and the Equitable Education Fund (EEF), recently continued its commitment to support educational opportunities by awarding scholarships to 100 junior high school students (Mathayom 1-3) through the ‘Mitsubishi Motors Give Chance, Give Education’ program. Seventy of the students were from Chonburi while 30 were from Pathum Thani. In its fifth year, this program has been held since 2020.
Mr. Eiji Ogawa, Executive Vice President, Factory Unit of Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Board of Director of Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Foundation said during the scholarship ceremony, “Throughout 64 years of our operations in Thailand, Mitsubishi Motors Thailand give importance to human resource development as we create a large number of jobs. Since this project started in 2020, in cooperation with the Equitable Education Fund or EEF, we have awarded 574 scholarships, inclusive of 100 scholarships in this year, to students who have strong academic performances and good behavior but need financial support. We hope to see our scholarship students continue their studies without interruption, develop their academic potential to the fullest, and ultimately bring their knowledge and experience to jointly develop Thailand further.”

In Chonburi, the ceremony was held at Mitsubishi Motors Thailand's Laem Chabang Factory 3. The event was presided over by Mr. Eiji Ogawa, Executive Vice President, Factory Unit of Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Board of Director of Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Foundation. In addition to the ceremony, the 70 students also had the opportunity to tour Mitsubishi Motors Thailand’s Factory 2 and 3 and learn about the latest technology in automotive manufacturing process.
A separate ceremony was held at the Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Education Academy to award 30 students from Pathum Thani with scholarships. Mr. Jaroon Banyat, Co-Vice President of People & Environment Strategy Unit of Mitsubishi Motors Thailand and Board of Director and Secretary of Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Foundation, presided over the event. The students were also given a tour of the Education Academy, which is the center of knowledge and skills development for Mitsubishi car dealers’ employees in various areas to provide the best customer experience, ranging from sales and after-sales services, and maintenance by technicians.
