Mitsubishi Motors Charity Run 2024 #5 ‘Together We Run, Together We Share’ Raises THB 850,000 for Kochan Hospital in Chon Buri Reinforcing the Vision of “To Contribute and Grow with Thai Society”

BANGKOK – November 20, 2024: Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Co., Ltd. and Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Foundation (MMTF) have successfully raised THB 850,000 for Kochan Hospital in Chon Buri to support the purchase of medical equipment. This was achieved through the Mitsubishi Motors Charity Run 2024 #5 ‘Together We Run, Together We Share’. The Charity Run aligns with Mitsubishi Motors Thailand’s commitment and CSR direction ‘To Contribute and Grow with Thai Society.’

 

Mr. Ryoichi Inaba, President and CEO of Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd., said, “We are very proud to have organized the Mitsubishi Motors Charity Run 2024 #5 ‘Together We Run, Together We Share’. In addition to promoting a healthy lifestyle among participants and the community, it also contributes to the well-being of the local community through our donation to Kochan Hospital. This running event demonstrates a commitment to enhancing and improving the health and quality of life of the local community, aligning with the ‘Health’ pillar of our CSR values.”

 

Dr. Piyawit Modmolthin, Director of Kochan Hospital, said, “We are deeply grateful to Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Mitsubishi Motors Thailand Foundation (MMTF), as well as the contributions from runners and other relevant parties who support this event. As a hospital that serves the local community, the funds will be very helpful for us to acquire essential medical equipment and services. This will enable us to improve our healthcare services and ensure the local community has better access to quality healthcare.”

 

For the Mitsubishi Motors Charity Run 2024 #5 ‘Together We Run, Together We Share’ this year, there were over 6,600 participants. With environmentally conscious operations, such as providing running shirts made from recycled materials and promoting waste separation and recycling, the event also featured booths showcasing the company’s various social projects and activities. Additionally, 3,000 seedlings were distributed to participants to support environmental activities, building on the company’s ‘Roots for Sustainability’ Project.’

Mr. Peera Samarngin

One of the 5-KM Fun Run runners, Mr. Peera Samarngin with Family, said, “I decided to join the Mitsubishi Motors Charity Run because it is a great event where I can spend time with my family. We are also pleased to have contributed to the donation for Kochan Hospital, and I strongly believe that this donation will bring the greatest benefit to the community.”

Ms. Saranya Deesomlert

Another participant of the 10-KM Mini Marathon, Ms. Saranya Deesomlert, added, “This is my first year participating in this event, and I am greatly impressed with the atmosphere this year, from the event management to the beautiful scenery of the venue, which made the run even more enjoyable. Ultimately, I am very proud to do my part in promoting health and contributing to the well-being of the local community through the purchase of medical equipment.”
