Non Khum Temple is also known as Luang Por Toh Temple with the world’s largest antique brass statue of Luang Por Toh (Somdej Phra Phuttajarn Toh Promrangsi). The man behind the establishment of the temple is famed actor Sorapong Chatree. The stunning architecture and beautifully-landscaped grounds make for a relaxing visit.
The Huay Bong windmill plant covers Dan Khun Tod and Tepharak districts and is part of the West Huay Bong 2 and West Huay Bong 3 projects. There is a total of 90 windmills over a 10,000-rai area, which makes this the largest windmill plant in Southeast Asia. Huay Bong was selected for the project due to constant wind all year round, location on a plateau, and proximity to the electricity grid. The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand purchases all the electricity produced here.
